Terms of Service

1. Using the Services

• You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian accept these terms for you (for example for summer camps).
• Give accurate information and keep your login details private. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Tell us promptly at support@bigxstar.com if you suspect unauthorised use.

2. Licences

Software products

For our software products (for example Starbooks POS, POS Application and Smart Billing) we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the software in line with your plan or download terms.

Training content

Course content is for your personal, non-commercial learning. You may not download, record, share or resell course materials, videos or source code provided during training, except where we say you may.

3. Fees, subscriptions and refunds

• Some Services are paid. Prices and plan limits are shown before you buy. Prices exclude GST, which is added to invoices.
• Subscriptions are billed in advance each period. You can cancel any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period.
• Course fees are generally non-refundable once the batch has commenced. The refund policy for your program is shared during enrolment.
• We will give at least 30 days' notice of price changes to existing subscriptions.

4. Accounts you connect

If you connect a third-party account (such as Instagram or LinkedIn) to one of our applications, you confirm you are allowed to manage it, and you agree to follow that platform's terms. Platforms may change or limit their services at any time; we will adapt where we can but are not responsible for their decisions. You can disconnect at any time.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of content you upload or create. You give us a limited licence to store, process and transmit it only to provide the Services to you. You confirm you have the rights to it and that it does not break any law or anyone else's rights. You are responsible for reviewing content before you publish it, including content suggested by automated or AI features.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use the Services to:

• post unlawful, misleading, abusive, infringing or harmful content;
• send spam or use fake accounts;
• collect other people's personal data without permission;
• get around security, rate limits or usage limits, or reverse engineer the Services except where the law allows; or
• interfere with the Services or other users.

7. Intellectual property

The Services, our software, course materials, designs and trademarks belong to BIGXSTAR or its licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership to you.

8. Disclaimer

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no other warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability or non-infringement. Training helps you build skills and our placement support helps you find opportunities, but we do not guarantee a job, salary or business result.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the Service concerned in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or end access if you seriously breach these terms, do not pay, or if the law requires it. We then handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We will post changes here and give account holders reasonable notice of important changes.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any consumer rights you have, the courts at Tiruvarur, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction. We will first try to resolve any dispute informally within 30 days of written notice.
