Senior Java Developer

Join our core engineering team to design, build, and maintain scalable enterprise-grade solutions that power our business operations. As a Senior Java Developer, you will lead technical architecture discussions, write high-performance and secure code, and mentor junior developers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers and QA to ensure seamless deployment of new features. We are looking for someone passionate about clean code, distributed systems, and continuous improvement in an agile environment.

About the Role

You will be a key member of our engineering team, designing and building the backend systems that power BIGXSTAR's enterprise products. From architecting microservices to mentoring junior developers, you'll shape the technical direction of products used by businesses every day. If you love solving hard problems at scale and writing clean, maintainable code — this is your role.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java/Spring Boot microservices
  • Architect RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services
  • Write clean, well-tested code with comprehensive unit and integration tests
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices
  • Collaborate with product managers to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Optimize application performance, reliability, and security
  • Participate in on-call rotations and incident response

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of professional experience with Java and Spring Framework
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
  • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and caching (Redis)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
  • Solid understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean architecture
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
